Personalized Stylist Project
Macy’s strives to continuously adapt to shoppers’ needs and demands to create a great shopping experience. Looking to renovate their fitting rooms and implement a personalized stylist strategy in their stores, Macy’s needed highly accurate As-Built layouts to ensure their design team can confidently create designs that would work and result in a smooth construction process. Due to their many on-going renovation strategies, their Store Planning team was at capacity and had limited time to implement their designs.
Macy’s partnered with DedON’s As-Built survey and Retail Support teams to facilitate the implementation of their personalized project strategy to their stores. Through a few strategy sessions and kick-off meetings, DedON quickly learned Macy’s business rules and Store Planning standards.
DedON’s Retail Support Team, using their survey team’s high precision As-Builts and Macy’s design layouts, created future state layouts to fit the proposed design in existing conditions of Macy’s stores. Understanding Macy’s strategy and standards, the Retail Support Team was able to adjust the designs to fit within the As-Builts with minimal assistance from Macy’s.
Macy’s met their deadlines and carried out their projects smoothly. Their internal Store Planning team was grateful that DedON took on part of their workload and required little oversight to implement their design strategy accurately. DedON’s teams were able to provide our customers with the most up-to-date, relevant information in a format they can absorb and utilize effectively immediately.
